01

Context

The system and the operational problem.

A buyer-facing event experience has to establish credibility quickly, communicate the value of Filipino design, and help visitors move from broad discovery into useful categories, exhibitors, and registration actions without losing the editorial character of the event.

02

Responsibility

What I owned and what I contributed.

Built and deployed the public-facing interface presented in this portfolio, with emphasis on responsive information architecture, visual storytelling, navigation, and buyer-registration calls to action. This case study covers the visible web experience rather than event operations or private registration processing.

03

Constraints

The engineering challenge.

  1. 01

Balancing editorial storytelling with a clear buyer-conversion path

  2. 02

Organizing categories, exhibitors, and event information without overwhelming the landing experience

  3. 03

Maintaining hierarchy and call-to-action visibility across screen sizes

04

Approach

How the problem was framed.

  1. 01

Lead with the buyer objective and the value of the event before introducing deeper content.

  2. 02

Use layered navigation and repeated registration entry points to keep the next action easy to find.

  3. 03

Treat imagery, category discovery, exhibitor visibility, and testimonials as connected trust signals.

05

Implementation

The layers that made the workflow work.

01

Frontend

Vue and Vite implementation for the public interface, reusable content sections, navigation, and responsive interaction behavior.

02

Experience design

Buyer-oriented hierarchy connecting brand storytelling to categories, exhibitors, testimonials, and registration actions.

03

Responsive delivery

Layouts and calls to action adapted for desktop and mobile discovery without collapsing the visual identity.

04

Deployment

Public deployment on Render for direct review of the buyer-facing experience.

06

Operational value

Concrete outcomes, without invented metrics.

  • Creates a coherent public journey from event positioning into buyer registration.
  • Gives product categories and exhibitors a structured place within the discovery experience.
  • Provides inspectable evidence of responsive frontend delivery for a commerce-adjacent event workflow.

Engineering reflection

For discovery-led commerce, conversion begins before a product page. Clear positioning, credible storytelling, and a visible next step are part of the system that creates qualified buyer interest.
